How wonderful that our paths cross. I am Deborah.
Driven by my love for nature, animals, bees and creativity, I create art that invites wonder, peace and connection.

My name Deborah means honeybee. Perhaps it's no coincidence that bees, nature and creativity run like a common thread through my life.
As an artist and natural beekeeper, I am daily inspired by the beauty of nature. I can intensely enjoy the little owls that live in my garden, a walk with my dog Buddy, a curious ladybug or an unexpected encounter with a deer, badger or bird of prey. For me, wonder is often found in small moments. It is precisely these special encounters with animals, plants and the rhythm of the seasons that form the basis of my work.
In my paintings, feeling, intuition and natural forms come together. I regularly work with beeswax from my own bees, which means that nature is not only my source of inspiration, but also literally becomes part of the creative process. Through layers of colour, structure and organic materials, artworks with warmth, depth and their own story are created.

I believe that art should be more than just something beautiful on the wall. An artwork should touch, inspire wonder and bring a sense of peace and connection. It should remind you of the beauty often hidden in the small things of life.
My wish is that my work not only enriches a space, but also affects the viewer. A smile. A feeling of coming home. A moment of silence. Or simply a daily reminder of the wonders of nature.
When a painting finds its home with someone who recognizes themselves in it, it feels like pure magic every single time.
